Absolutely excellent stay with a family 2 adults and 2 children, food was lovely and well priced ,the whole hotel was excellent, the rooms,restaurant, bar,lounge so homely ,the owners were so lovely and easy to talk to ,all the staff were excellent service was the best ,housekeeping was spot on ,all tge locals in the hotel and tge village very friendly, the shops, are very welcoming very nice happy hoilday we will return thank you lisa roberts and family ,holywell, north 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 wales.x

I just used the bar - didn't stay here but if the bar is anything to go by I would recommend it. Friendly staff, lovely bar, decent prices. Nice garden with plenty of seats.

Lovely spot for a family meal.. best back of house staff too. Wonderful dishie! Young person was so kind and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful, I was travelling alone, but I really felt at home, the rooms were clean and comfortable, although some furniture could do with replacing. The food was excellent, Thank you x

Friendly welcome, lovely setting and good food. Great choice for breakfast and nice beer garden when the sun is out. Bedrooms need a bit of updating but on the whole a good place to stay.

Lovely hotel and pub. We went just for food and ate in the bar. We had a homemade pie and chilli. Nice hearty warming dishes. Big portions.

I have been to the bar here several times for food and company. The log burner sets it all off a treat, and the atmosphere is friendly. Food and service is excellent. This is the first time I have stayed in the hotel and the location is excellent. I accidentally left my phone charger behind and the owner very kindly arranged to post it back to me. Thank you for going the extra mile!
